"Well worth a visit - after a day looking in local graveyards for our family history, this pub was a welcome sight. Very nice and clean, plenty of room to sit, both inside and out. Well-cooked and presented food. Lovely tartare sauce with the fresh fish and chips my husband and I ordered. My friend ordered the Glasfryn burger and was equally pleased. Toilets also new and clean. Staff very pleasant and helpful."

"Birthday lunch - The Sun Inn has two menus; one for the evening and another for lunches, both are excellent. Lots to choose from - my daughter opted for the mussels and was brought a huge bowl of them served with hot bread!. Very reasonably-priced meals and the food was of a very high standard. The staff were very pleasant. Definitely be going again!"

Used this pub for evening meals on three occasions whilst spending a week on the Llyn Peninsula. Excellent selection of meals and good Robinsons cask ales, the Unicorn being especially good. Friendly staff and management. Dog-friendly (specific areas of pub only) too. An excellent establishment."

"Good pub food with interesting specials. Couldn’t book in advance, but they were able to quickly accommodate our party of 7 with a very young baby - we wound up in the bar at a corner table with extra space to put the baby in her carrycot (and our dog under the table). The front bar area had a good atmosphere and was most probably better for us than the rear bar/restaurant area.

Several of the specials were ordered, including the rabbit in red wine (enormous portion!), hare medallions (not had these before, quite gamey, but good) and various other dishes. All the food was cooked well and was of a good portion size.
